Hmmm

I have just spent my entire Labor Day holiday reading about designing a web page. What have I learned? Not a whole lot. I compare it to trying to figure out Latin. It's not like Greek because I can recognize the letters. However, the words created from those letters, while they may look like something I do have a clue about, are impossible to make sense of. Start laughing because I have to be able to do this by Saturday. I think this is going to be the most difficult class I have ever taken in my life!

What kind of web page do you have to design?

Do you get to use some kind of software or do you have to write the code yourself? Are you using HTML?

As to what kind of webpage I have to design, I have very little info. on that. All the syllabus says is that I have to do a HTML portfolio, with web pages posted to the Bengal server and it's worth 25 points. Other than that, it's nada as far as content, etc. Not the best written description of an assignment.
We do not get to use software. It does say that we have to use raw, standard HTML, so I assume that means I'll be writing code. I did find a site that has free tutorials, so in my free time (yeah, right) I'm going to try to go through those, sort of like web design for dummies, or so it's advertised.
